Martian Labs is a member of the Albatross Ventures family and specializes in working with startups and growth-stage companies. I worked with the team prior to launch to create their visual identity.

The geometric design focuses on a simplified, perspective planet view. There’s representation in the concept, which can be viewed as Mars (red) = Martian Labs, Earth (dark blue) = competition, star (light blue) = clients. The overlap between planet and star symbolizes working with clients while the perspective view shows distance between Martian and competitors.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with over 30 designers the past five years. Most designers try to be one-size-fits-all rather than striving to be the best of their discipline. Not Anthony.

Creating the branding and identity for Martian Labs was perhaps the most important project I’ve worked on. Admittedly, also the one I spent the most sleepless nights brainstorming on, evaluating hundreds of designers and eagerly waiting to see it come to life. After a month of evaluating, I knew Anthony was the guy for the job. His use of geometric shapes and color is second to none.

It’s not often a designer nails the identity on the first try ... well Anthony did. I am blown away and can’t stop staring at the work! I can’t recommend him enough for internal or external work!
